ABSTRACT

Objective: To explore how to promote the inheritance and development of traditional art (seal cutting art) in modern education environment, and how to utilize modern education means to enhance the effect of art education, so as to provide new ideas and methods for the innovation and development of art education. Methods: This paper adopts the questionnaire survey method to conduct the research, carrying out two tests with an interval of 30 days in between and sampling a total of 400 people. The quantitative data collected from the survey was analyzed by using statistical software to determine the views and opinions of the respondents and to analyze the extraction of knowledge and understanding of the art of seal cutting. Results: The group mostly belongs to students of universities and colleges, secondary school students, enterprises and institutions and freelancing mainly. Secondly, from the age structure proportion of the surveyed visitors, it can be seen that young people in the age group of 19-30 years old are the most numerous, accounting for 53.20%, followed by young people aged 6-18 years old accounting for 30.12%, and the elderly account for the least. The results of the survey show that: 73.43% of the people who recommend online seal carving course, the recommendation score of 64.29, critical only 7.14% of the total number of people, amounting to more than half of the people said that they want to online seal carving teaching course experience to recommend to the people around them. In the interviews, some participants expressed their hope that the online seal carving experience course can be developed in the long run, and they are willing to actively recommend the art gallery course to the people around them, hoping that more people will join the team of learning seal carving. Conclusion: Traditional and modern education can effectively complement each other.
